Er. Lokesh Sapkota is currently holding the position of Managing Director at SWAT Labs. He holds Master’s degree in Environmental Management. Currently, he is a PhD Scholar in Environmental Engineering at Kathmandu University. He has wide range of experiences in projects related to Environmental Impact Assessment of various infrastructure projects that includes National Highways, Railways and Hydropower. He has profound experiences of leading & managing the Environment (Ambient Air, Stack Emission, Noise & water quality) Monitoring projects related to construction & operational sites of national highways, hydropower, airports & industrial sites.

Finance & Administration: Ms. Manak Chaudhary

Ms. Manak is currently holding the position of Finance & Administration at SWAT Labs. She holds Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. She has been involved with SWAT labs since the establishment and has wide range of expertise in developing strategic financial plans, provide insights to support strategic initiatives, managing capital expenditures and developing risk management strategies and implement controls to mitigate potential threats.

IT Expert: Ms. Tripti Pant
Ms. Tripti Pant, our proficient IT and Software Specialist at the SWAT Lab. Armed with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s degree in Information Technology, Tripti brings a wealth of technical expertise to our team. Her primary focus lies in leveraging her knowledge of software development and IT systems to enhance our lab’s capabilities, particularly in the realm of IoT (Internet of Things). Tripti plays a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining software solutions that facilitate real-time data analysis, communication, and automation within our operations. Her adeptness in harnessing IoT technologies enables us to integrate smart sensors and devices for monitoring air quality, ensuring that our team has access to accurate and timely information during missions. Tripti’s dedication to innovation and problem-solving empowers us to stay at the forefront of technological advancements, driving efficiency and effectiveness in our SWAT operations. Lab Coordinator: Ms. Prabina Shrestha

Ms. Prabina is currently holding the position of Laboratory Coordinator in SWAT Labs. She hold’s Master of Science degree in Chemistry. She has more than 5 five years of experience in overall management of laboratories activities in analytical testing of water, soil, air and noise. She has great understanding of quality control measures in lab which has excel the overall performance of lab.

Deputy Lab Coordinator: Mr. Aalekh Bhattarai
Mr. Aalekh Bhattarai is currently holding the position of Deputy Lab Coordinator. He holds Bachelor degree in Environmental Science. He has more than five years in experience in analytical testing of water, waste water, soil, air and noise. His keen interest areas are air & noise pollution sampling, monitoring & analysis. He has been involved in various environmental monitoring activities carried out by the firm which has been bringing the valuable insights development of knowledge in sector of Air and noise quality monitoring for the SWAT Labs.

Technicians:
Ms. Nisha Neupane
Ms. Nisha Neupane is currently holding the position of Marketing and Sales Technician in SWAT Labs. She holds Master degree in Environmental Science. She has been involved with SWAT Labs for more than three years and has been interest in market research of services and products offered by SWAT Labs that includes customer preferences, market trends, competitor activities and industry developments. She is acquaintance with research techniques, data analysis tools and sources of information to inform marketing and sales strategies.

Mr. Diwas Pandey
Mr. Diwash Pandey is currently holding the position of Marketing and Sales Technician in SWAT Labs. He holds B. Tech in Environmental Engineering and has been involved with SWAT Labs for more than one year. His major areas of interest are implementation of digital marketing initiatives, including website management, email marketing, advertising and social media marketing. Moreover, his research area of interest includes IoT of air & water pollution monitoring devices which has uplift the SWAT performance in marketing of environment technologies that suites the customer choices.

Lab Assistant: Mr. Arjun Garja Magar

Mr. Arjun is currently holding the position of Lab Assistant in SWAT Labs. His role has been essential in supporting the smooth operation of all laboratory’s activities. His main responsibilities include sample handling and preparation, Data collection and recording, Laboratory Safety and inventory management.

Dr. Anish Ghimire
Dr. Anish Ghimire is an Assistant Professor in the Environmental Engineering and Management Program, at the Department of Energy, Environment and Climate Change, School of Environment, Resources and Development at Asian Institute of Technology. His research interests include water & wastewater treatment processes, Life Cycle Assessment & Air pollution, environmental health and climate change. His strategic guidance, networking and connections, evaluation and feedback has been very much useful in overall growth of the Company.

Dr. Bijay Thapa
Dr. Bijay Thapa is Program Manager in Energize Nepal at Kathmandu University. His research interests include hydropower, renewable energy and waste to energy projects. His strategic guidance on renewable energy projects has been useful for the lab to perform the research activities connecting to the industrial benefits.

Mr. Pravesh Tiwari
Mr. Pravesh Tiwari, our esteemed Air Quality Expert at the SWAT Lab. With a robust academic background, Pravesh holds an MSc (Tech.) in Geophysics and is currently pursuing his PhD at the prestigious China University of Mining and Technology. His research focuses on critical areas such as aerosol optical and physical properties, aerosol radiative forcing, and the utilization of low-cost air quality sensors and their application potential. Pravesh brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on experience to our team, enabling us to effectively monitor and analyze air quality data in real-time during SWAT operations. His expertise ensures that our team stays ahead of potential health risks associated with poor air quality, enhancing operational efficiency and safeguarding the well-being of our personnel. Pravesh’s dedication to advancing air quality research aligns seamlessly with our mission to excel in all aspects of SWAT operations, making him an invaluable asset to our team.

Ms. Pranita Tiwari
Ms. Pranita Tiwari, our dedicated Microbiologist/Public health advisor at the SWAT Lab. Armed with a dual expertise, Pranita holds an MSc in Microbiology and an additional MSc in Public Health, specializing in air quality related to health. Her comprehensive academic background equips her with a deep understanding of microbiological processes as well as the intricacies of public health, particularly concerning air quality. Pranita’s passion lies in exploring the nexus between air quality and human health, making her a vital asset to our team. With her specialized knowledge, Pranita contributes invaluable insights into assessing the health impacts of air pollutants and formulating strategies to mitigate associated risks during SWAT operations.

Er. Narayan Hari Rijal
Er. Narayan Rijal is a Civil Engineer with specialization in Hydropower Development from NTNU, Norway. Practitioner of Environmental Flows in Nepal since 2016 with a number of projects such as Upper Trishuli-1 HEP (216 MW), Trishuli River Basin with more than 35 projects, Hewa Khola A and Lower Hewa Khola Hydropower Projects. Involved in the Environmental Assessment and Environmental Monitoring of different infrastructure projects including Hydropower, Water Supply and Sanitation, Buildings, Roads and Bridges. Areas of research interests include Ecohydraulics, Integrated Water Resources Management, River Basin Planning, Nature Based Solutions and Sustainable Hydropower Development. With his specialized knowledge and experiences, Er. Narayan Hari Rijal contributes invaluable insights into environmental monitoring during SWAT operations.
